The Fat Frogg has been the dream of owner Jeff MacKenzie since graduating from Elon College in 1977. After playing four years of football and graduating from Elon College, Jeff settled down in Alamance County where he has successfully started a number of small businesses. Not forgetting his dream, Jeff began to put together the foundation for the Fat Frogg three years ago. Jeff has always envisioned an atmosphere that was both welcoming to college students along with families, but was still a place where anyone could have a good time with good food and people. Jeff’s dream has finally become a reality! He’s offering a place for Phoenix athletic fans to come support their team, a place for families to get a bite to eat after a little league game and a place for students to listen to live music without the hassle of leaving Elon. The only rule at the Fat Frogg is to have fun and that shouldn’t be a problem considering all the Frogg has to offer, including an outside patio, a number of nostalgic games, live entertainment, great food and drinks and most importantly good people.
