Leading with Landscape: Free Tours

Posted by Raleigh Nightlife Staff • Upcoming Events

Spring weather makes a triumphant return to Raleigh on Friday and Saturday! The sunny, 80-degree forecast looks perfect for the free tours that are part of the "Leading with Landscape" conference that our friends from the City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources gave us the skinny on recently...

The City of Raleigh is co-sponsoring a national landscaping conference, Leading with Landscape, on April 13. The event takes place at NC State University’s James B. Hunt, Jr. Library in Raleigh. They will be doing free tours for the public on the weekend!

Discover the design history of places you pass every day but may never have visited with free tours of the Research Triangle's diverse cultural landscapes, including: campuses, public parks, industrial complexes, African-American heritage areas, Modernist sites, and an extensive network of trails and greenways.

The tours will be led by experts in history and landscape design, revealing the rich landscape legacy of North Carolina.
